Michelin & Pirelli Receive Highest Ranks in Study

According to the J.D. Power 2014 Original Equipment Tire Customer
Satisfaction Study, tire quality continues to improve as the number of
problems owners experience with their factory-installed tires drops.
Study respondents ranked Michelin highest in three vehicle segments,
and Pirelli highest in one. The study measured tire owner satisfaction in
the luxury, passenger car, performance sport and truck/utility segments
for tire wearability, tire ride, tire appearance and tire traction/handling.
Michelin ranks highest in the luxury, passenger car and truck/utility
segments. Pirelli ranks highest in the performance sport segment.
Pirelli ranks second in the luxury segment, and Bridgestone ranks
third. In the passenger car segment, Goodyear ranks second, followed
by Firestone. Bridgestone and BFGoodrich rank second and third,
respectively, in the truck/utility segment. Pirelli is followed by Goodyear
and Bridgestone in the performance sport segment.
