The "Highway" Story      

Family tradition was always "hard work and honest customer service". Mike built Highway from a long family history of companies using the Highway name. From the very beginning Mike set out to develop a team of family oriented, dedicated and customer service minded individuals.   

Mike worked in the oil business for many years before he decided that retail petroleum and auto repair was where he really wanted to spend his time.

In January of 1990 he opened his first Service station, Palm City Auto Lube and Services. Through good team building, lots of hard work, honest and reliable customer service, the business grew.

Things grew so fast that in early 1992 he expanded his auto repair business from the small gas station to a new 7000 square foot facility right next door. This was the birth of Highway Tire and Auto.

Mike and his dedicated family of employees have been servicing thousands of cars annually since the beginning. Customer service and a reputation for honest repairs even earned Mike two four year terms serving his community as a County Commissioner. Community service is also a very big part of how the company gives back to the community.
